Sprinkle me with PFT dust

Hey guys!!

We have clinic on Monday so Im gonna need you all to package up some of the best PFT dust you have and send it to me!
M has been crackling at night and the past 2 days he has had a productive cough.
It dont look too bad but it is darker than usual..Think coffee with alot of creamer.
TMI maybe but hey you all know this is a CF blog ;)
Im praying his numbers are atleast 80% or higher!! I would LOVE a 102% again!!

On a different note..I can not believe its November already! Yesterday was 1 year since I talked to Mrs. Anna. =( Oh how I miss her. I am dreading the 19th..No really its gonna be rough. I cant stand to see the ones I love hurt. I wish I could hug or love it all away. M always tells me if hugs could bring peace and love could cure CF he would be rich bc he could sell me for top dollar =D. Sweet in that Michael way ;)

Make sure you tell the ones you love how special they are!! Time is so very precious!

Sorry for the lack of post.
I still read each and everyone of your blogs!!
Thank you Jessica for the check in!!

We are doing well. Theres lots and lots I wanna share with you guys!! But sadly theres 3 people that sit and wait on me to post something, anything that they can switch all around or start a massive rumor war with. Normally I dont care much about the rumors but the above said 3 people are personal people I unfortunatly will have in my life forever. So out of respect for M I keep some stuff to myself. Which sadly means I cant share it with you all..BUT soon Ill figure out a way!!

Anywho M is doing very well! A few crackles when he sleeping and some sinus crud when he first wakes up. Hes staying on top of his treatments (with much nagging) and says he feels wonderful!! Our next clinic visit is Sometime in the first week or so of November..I dont remember the exact date but its coming up none the less.
Im excited to see his PFT's and I pray that they will be as good as last time!!

In other news...
My dear friend Mallory is expecting her 1st baby!! Congrats Drew and Mal!
Slimer is still Slimer :)
Gumby is no longer alive. Slime ate his head off day before yesterday. RIP Gumby.
I have lost 50 pounds!! Woo Hoo!!
And thats pretty much everything for the past month or so.

Change

Change is never easy.
I dont like it nor does Michael.
Im sure if Slimer could type he would also type just how much he dont like it either.

But sometimes weather we like it or not it dont change a thing.
My house and my little family are going through a major change.
And as if it was not clear we are very unhappy about it.

Please say a extra prayer.
Pray that this change goes easier than expected.
Pray that this change dont turn in to a loss.

Ive always been told when one door closes another opens.

Let me take you to step by step through my morning.

9:02- Wake up and look at phone
9:08- Must pee so I get up
9:12- Kiss my sweet M awake
9:15- Realize I didn't fix M's pills last night for this am so I start to fix them for the next 2 weeks.
9: something. who really cares- I take M his pills with his (always full) water bottle.

Conversation starts.

M- Huh I cant believe I still have pills
K- What do you mean?
M- I have not run out yet
K- I don't understand
M- Since you know...Mom died
K- Silently thinks....

Back story..Michael's Mom re ordered his meds..it was what she did and I dare never try to take that away or take over. When she died I obviously did.

I return to the kitchen still pondering what just happen and finish emptying his old pills all into the new bottles I just received in the mail..that I just reordered. Like I have every 2 1/2 months. Since last November.
But for right now my friends I did not have the heart to say anything else.
Right now I will be the pill fairy. Just add it to my list.
If I can say so myself I'm the coolest fairy ever actually.
I'm so cool I never let things like PSP's, chargers, keys, games, wallets or shoes stay in the lost world of "but I put them right here"
I don't let dust settle very long before I swoop in (obviously invisible) and pledge it up.
The floor stays pretty darn clean.
I most always have a warm dinner on the table by 6:30
I manage to keep all favorite Ghost buster shirts clean even when he knows he just threw that in the dirty laundry basket.
And now I'm so dang awesome I manage to not let much needed medicine run completely out. Since November

Can you see her?? You know the Pill fairy??

Blog help Please

Hey guys!!
Hope you all are feeling good!
We are all good here.
M's still feeling great and Slime pot is healing SLOWLY.
Believe it or not I am the one kinda sick now..boo.
Although when one lives with, cares for, is married to or dating a CFer you cant really get sick. Atleast not in my brain. It seems as if "my throat is sore" or "my nose is stopped up" is quite trivial to "I cant breath" "Ive had 10 nose bleeds today" or "my sputum is really dark" so I just hush smile and take medicine :).
Luckily M is a smart one and picks up on the extra tissues add to the already near bout over flowing bathroom trash and takes care of me :). I love him. No really I REALLY LOVE THAT MAN.

So reason for my post and post title.
How can I look up blogs? Like say I wanted to search photography blogs.
When Im looking for new CF blogs I just click under one of you guys and in the intrest section most of you have Cystic Fibrosis and I just click that. But what Im looking for (which is not really photography I was just using that as an example) is not listed under any of yalls intrest. Leave it to me to be odd and want to read about something none of my 33 followers.
Anywho please help me if ya can!!

Home with an update

Hi guys!!
We are home from Mexico!
We had fun and took lots of pics, but we are so glad to be back home for some rest!

Thanks for all the prayers and a extra thanks to Somer Love (I just like her whole name) for telling me about Seagate Olive Leaf Nose & Throat spray...Michael did not even have a heavy cough fit while there and still (knock on wood) he is feeling WONDERFUL...as in no problems at all!!

M's dog bite is still a hole but he says it dont hurt much at all (Thank You Jesus)
Slimer on the other hand breaks my heart...Hes pretty beat up =(

The animal control put the attack dog down and let us know he was up tp date on his shote..They have sent his body to the lab to test for any kind of disease and we should know something soon.

Nightmare!

I'm pretty sure today has to be a horrid dream and I just have not woke up yet.
We got up at 10 after a very long night of prepping for our Mexico trip.
All was well I was confirming plane tickets and my dear friend Jason said he was gonna walk Slimer. No big deal Slimer walks ON HIS LEASH several times a day. The neighbors love him, play with him and often feed him while he snorts, grunts and mostly passes gas. But that's not the case for today..no sir.

My phone rings and its Jason so I just opened the door to see what he needs. I see 2 of my neighbors. 1 is shooting his gun and 1 is throwing his kids bike! As I walk out I see Slimer being attacked by a huge brown dog. I also see Jason with skin and blood everywhere I went right in to spaz mode crying and shaking (OK maby I love my dog a bit more than normal but whatever) M sees whats happening and runs down the hill (while loosing my shoes in the street) to help Jason who is trying so hard to save Slimer. Gun shots, a flying rake, blood curdling screams of pain from Michael and Jason...Panic! The neighbor thought he shot M and is screaming for help..Panic!! So I call 911 answer 500 questions, M comes running up the hill..blood everywhere (keep in mind I'm married to a CFer..I normally don't panic easily and I'm used to blood and what knot) EVERYWHERE!!! Slimes bleeding, M is bleeding, Jason is bleeding its was horrid! FINALLY the ambulance gets here takes J and M in the ambulance to the er and I called a friend to take Slime to the vet.

End of the story..Jason has 15 bites and 4 puncture holes, Michael has 5 Teeth deep puncture holes and Slimer is at the vet. The vet says he should be good to come home tomorrow (he fought really hard) and the Dr's say the guys will be ok..We just have to wait and see if the dog has rabies. The family of the attack dog has not even tried to come talk to us. Slimer was on a leash and their dog was just let out freely to go "play". As you can imagine this is more than likely going to turn into a very ugly situation. Their dog has killed 2 dogs in our neighborhood already!! Animal control has picked him up and hes at the pound now to be watched for 7-10 days. Please Please pray that he has had his shots (like a good human should have done)and that Jason and Michael heal just fine. We are leaving for Mexico in a few hours and I'm so nervous about going now! I just pray all goes well! One of M's wounds is still bleeding pretty bad so if you would throw in a extra prayer for that I be oh so thankful!!

Ima miss you guys while I'm gone BUT I will be praying for you all as normal and look forward to all my catch up reading!

Good news is better late than never!

Hey guys!!
Sorry I did not update sooner.
We have had a busy busy week! We are going to Mexico on thursday so we have been rushed getting passports and birth certificates and all this other garbage.. Anyway not important..
What is important tho is what happend when we had clinic visit on Monday..ok so Im a week late..cry for me =)
M had a bet with 2 of his CF buddies that he could blow harder so I had to make a video of his PFT's..Lucky for me it also makes a neat blog post!! Enjoy the video but minus the sarcastic hoop la aimed at M's buddies.

Thats right 102%...never in my 7 years of going to these visits has it ever been over 96% and that was only 1 time!! M's baseline is in the 70's.
Needless to say we have done lots of celebrating =)

Hey guys!
Everything is going really well here..well I mean kinda.
M is still having alot of sinus crud but we got some new nasal rinse with a antibiotic in it and it seems to help a little..we just started it yesterday but he does feel some better so Im all smiles =)
We moved his clinic appt. to this Monday at 2:00 so hopefully I can bring yall back some good numbers!!

On a very sour note..
I think most of you know Josh & Graciy but if not I encourage you to check out their blog.
Anyway tragedy has struck their family and they need all the prayers they can get.
Sorry for lack of details Im sure she will post as soon as she can.
Please please say an extra prayer for them along with the intire family..My heart really hurts for them as I can remember how awful it was for Michael & I.
Also will you please keep Kori and family in your prayers as they are facing the most difficult time so far on their already difficult journey.

About time

That I stop in and say Hi to you guys!!
I hope everyone is well.

We are all doing well.
Michael and I have been pretty in this "Our Time" mode and we have taken many small trips ALONE together, cut out alot of phone calls and text, and really just been very much into each other and each other only...How selfish..Oh well its a rare thing.

M has a cough..pretty sure its due to sinus drainage. We got the results back from his sleep study and..Get ready for this one..Im sure some of you will find it as funny as I did. The Dr. said "Your breathing is wonderful" (sure thing I thought he had cf) and then he says "I think you have some allergies" (good thing I thought he had cf) then he says "You should see a ENT doctor" (good thing thats who occupies my #4 speed dial) So in detail M stops breathing 4.2 times an hour...In order to have sleep apnea you have to stop 5 times or more. What he ended up saying was..Michael does seem to be very sleepy..It only takes him around 8 mins to fall asleep and 18-23 mins is what is considered "normal". Michael also comes out of a deep sleep 45 times in a 6 hour period and normal is 7-12. So pretty much the end answers we got was that M has "allergies" that are messing with his airways, He gets woke up alot more than the avg. person due to "coughing" and last but not least we were told that from a sleep stand point M is fine that he sleeps during the day mainly out of bordem.
Man that was a informative visit.

So we made a appointment to see one of my fav. doctors!! Dr. Swain (sinus master)
And briefly before he and M went totally in to movie and video game mode I was able to get some ?'s and answers in.
Dr S says that if M thinks he is tired due to snoring (very rare for M) that he could trim that little dangle piece in the back of his mouth (of course he had a proper name for that piece)and he also said if it dont get better through the rest of the year that he will talk to Dr. Sindel (Cf doctor) about "gutting" M's left side like he did the right a few years ago. This was M's idea...He says he has no problems on his right side that its only the left that stops up and dont "move" air.
So Swain told us that right now "the juice is not worth the squeeze" so just go home use the neil med sinus rinse followed by afrin and come in when its unbearable to get "sucked out"

So that where we are health wise. Lungs seem to be pretty good...kinda starting to crackle a tiny bit at night but we have our clinic visit in Aug so we will know more then. He has been working out a good bit so Im excited to see if his numbers go up!!

Anyways everyone else is good.
Slimer is being a sweet little monster

We attempted to make Titus an inside dog...Slimer loved it but I still dont care much for the whole peeing in the carpet thing so hes out again...He likes being outside better anyway.

And everything except Slimer thinking he is 100% human and sitting like so..is normal =)

An Angel Went Home

Death is never easy.
Ever.

My Mam~Maw went home today.
She was by far the sweetest person ever.
She was 90 and had the spirit of a 10 year old.
She would never wear her hearing aide and constantly say HUH?!
She would hide cookies under her pillow and not have a clue why her sugar was 500.
She taught me that Noxema was a girls bestfriend.
She was never without a tabloid.
Ever.
She got up every morning and put her make up on no matter what.
She feel asleep reading the paper.
She woke up and swore she was not sleeping but thought she may need a little nap.
She did not miss Wheel of fortune or Jeopardy.
Ever.
She kept her hair done and even dyed it red.
She drew on her eyebrows and they were perfect.
She saw the good in everyone but would talk about you when you took the sweets away.
She was precious.
She was funny.
She was a mess.
And she will be MISSED.

Please keep my family in your prayers for the upcoming days.
I dont think any of us were ready.

Ahh the smell!

Hey guys!
No news is good news!
We are all doing well!
M is still having a little sinus crap going on and has yet to have a sleep study.
He has however only had 2 naps this week! Woo Hoo!

Michaels dad got 1 of the cool sleep number beds so he gave us his bed and WOW!
Its the biggest most comfortable bed EVER!!! With that being said I can go in to the title of my post.

Mrs. Anna (for new readers thats M's mom that VERY unexpectantly passed away in Nov.)
always smelled amazing! Im talking like lure you in sniffing kinda good..And not just her but the house the bedroom her car...always smelled better than anythinng I can describe. And so anyway the smell has not (Thank you God) faded. As soon as you open the front door of their house the smell hits your nose instantly. Its a comfortable thing...1 thing thats still the same. Well guess what came with our mattress? Thats right!! The wonderful smell!! Now its not always good when someone brings her up to M or something reminds him BUT like I said this is a comfort thing. Granted M can not smell now BUT he could at 1 time and he says her very much so remembers the smell and he loves knowing that our house has the sweet wonderful smell of Mrs. Anna.

Death is so odd to me..
Like I still go in and think shes gonna be there.
Why? Its been 7 months.
When will it sink in?
I sure do miss that womans cookin! Man she made some mean poppy seed chicken. Along with 50 thousand other wonderful dishes.

M deals so well with death. Its good in a way. CF plus depression is never a pretty site but its really sad that death has become such a part of him its almost like second nature. He hears about it replies and goes on about his day.
Amazing..Yes but just sad. All the more reason a cure REALLY needs to be found.

Anyway Im going to go enjoy our new smell good bed with my wonderful, amazing, funny, sarcastic M!

I hope you all are doing wonderful! And even tho Im not posting much you are ALL still very much in my prayers!!

No M pretty much does any and everything with me and very rarely complains.

Cf Question

Are any of you Cfers tired alot?

M will got to bed at say 10pm wake up at 10am and take a nap from 2-6 and then be ready for bed again at 10?

We still have not had his sleep study...they were booked for quite a long time.
Anyway M being sleepy so much has increasingly gotten worse and Im kind of concerned now.
Dr. S says the sleep study will tell us more but I have really never liked the whole wait and see game cf loves so much.

I confess that I ate 2 bags of hot peanuts followed my a strawberry yoohoo and THEN I ate a reeses..dont stop there not only did I ask for a strawberry yoohoo but I needed a choc. one 2 and a KING size kit kat...totally a fatty moment
I also confess that I asked M to go get me all of those things on a spur of the moment basis while I was crying and didnt know why.

Come to my nice Cozy House?

Its been a exciting week in the Perkins home!

5 Years ago M decided he wanted a snake.
5 Years ago I was a madly in love ( not so bright ) teen with said M.
5 Years ago I bought ( yes as in PAID ) M the snake that was just so tiny and tucked away in a glass cage.

Her name is Kaa.
She has never struck or bit anyone/thing besides her food.
I have never cared much for her but never really had a problem with her either.
She lives in her glass cage locked away in another room.
To be honest I never even see her...In all honesty I may have seen her 10 times in 5 years.

In her 5 years of life she has grown to be 4ft and remained to be a "good" (HA!)snake. This is all wonderful. Just fabulous right?

Also in Kaa's 5 years of life she apparently has decided she dont like being tucked away in her nice little glass cage.

She escaped.

Yes a 4 foot snake named Kaa is loose in my house.

Where I sleep and eat and pee and laugh and preform CPT and roll in the floor with Gumby and Slimer.

Have you my friends ever tried to sit on your toilet while being completly aware of every inch around you? How about sleep 8 hours in the bed where the cover runs over your legs causing you to instantly be awake, out of bed and looking around crazily with no contacts in my friend? Oh or when you need to stick your hand down in the cabinet to get that cassarole dish for dinner? Or turn on the light switch in the dark?

Dont you all want to come visit me?

Hey guys!
Im sorry I have been a crappy blogger!
Ive been busy.
We had a ER (10 hours) visit thanks to a arthritis flare up...I had no clue it could/would affect the spine and make M unable to move out of no where. But hes ok now and thats what matters.

I have been on a crazy mission to find the perfect wedding dress with Mallory.
Had to switch my phone from at&t to verizon which took 2 days!!
Been on a roller coaster ride called "keep M from buying a horse"...Yea I really mean that...We live in the heart of the city..where in the heck is a horse gonna go???

Nah really I dont care if he gets 1 I just dont want it to be a impulse decision ya know.

Oh and speaking of changing phones...I got the lg versa...uhh it ROCKS!!!!

*****Complete scatter brained subject change******

I have been walking at a local park with Mal the last week or so and tonight M went with us and RAN!! yes M ran around the track!! He ran 1/2 a mile!!! I was so very very proud of him!!!!

Anyway Im off to bed...or to lay..whatever it is I do at night when the rest of the world is sleeping.

**Please say a special prayer for M & I we have a personal issue thats not so easy on the heart right now =(

CF update

We went to clinic today and only had to wait 2 hours to be seen =)

I am very pleased to report that M's functions are up from 55% to 81%!! His FEV1 went from 2.05 to 3.56 wooo hoooo!
All his vitals were good =) Including his pulse ox which was 96-97! He was 5'9 and a magical 183 pounds!!
Dr. S told M how pleased he was with his weight and he feels like that is a huge part in him being as healty as he is right now ;)
No med changes but he did order M a sleep study test. We are kind of concerned about how much M wants to sleep.
He all jokes aside could sleep 18-20 hours a day if he had it his way and we all know thats not good so hopefully this sleep study will let us know why hes not getting "restful" sleep.

For his birthday I got him a PKE meter..for all you non ghostbusters fan the PKE meter is something important that they use in the movie..He has been wanting the replica since I met him so I finally broke down and splurged on it. He was so happy he and now he takes it every where with him. He spent his time at clinic using it on all the people..Some of the looks were quite priceless and Dr. S has convinced M to come to his house dressed in full GB suite with all props and investigate his house just to scare his wife! The 2 of them are a mess together!! Hes an awesome doctor and I just love him!! Anyway thats my good clinc report and Ill leave you with M being his goofy self harassing the people at the doctors office today.

Paul's Wedding

Hey guys!! We had alot of fun going to Paul's wedding! Paul is one of M's oldest friends (23 years) and hold's the title of "best friend" but a few years ago Paul moved away and M has not got to see him much. As you can imagine M was super excited!! Jason and I went to the church when M had to go which was 3 hours early for pictures so we got super bored and took lots of pictures =) Yours Truly Jason & I Man of the hour *Paul* Steven (Pauls brother) Paul, Rip (pauls dad) and Michael Goof Ball! Call it LOVE Or call it GROSS ;) AWE!!!! They were so cute! Paul cried almost the whole time and it was so so sweet!! Kudos to you Paul! 2 Cute Lookin handsome for his wifey!!

We met some really awesome people (Amber & Lonnie) that actually live like 5 mins form where we live and seem like the flippin mirror image of us!! Our hotel was nice but the bed was horrid so when we got back we were all exausted!! So over all it was a quick and fun trip =)

So I was Sleepy BUT....

I was so excited last night when I blogged to you guys about being tired but then...
I did all the laundry, gave Slimer fresh food and water and then fixed M's nebs..
HA!! He was not playing that easy last night..no sir buddy! He acted like a little kid!! Ya know how when a kid dont wanna take medicine or eat veggies they will put there hand over there mouth and shake there head?? well that my friend is REALLY what M did!!!!! And bad thing is I caught myself playing right along "If you do this 1 treatment Ill make you a banana split" "Come on babe just open your mouth"
And they reality came back in to play and I came to my senses realizing I was begging a 25 year old man to do his medicaton!!!
Long story short I placed my hand on those nice little cords M likes to think so highly of..Known as the power supply to the PS3 and threatned to snatch them out while he was mid race/fight/battle or whatever the heck you call it..Needless to say he quickly decided to do his treatments..=D

So finally I made it to the bed BUT then M decided he needed to make sure I was not upset with him over the treatment thing. ( which I was not just sometimes I must be the stern inforcer to keep him healthy ) He gives me a hard time but then feels bad so he has to make sure everythings ok lol..His way of making sure I was ok was by body slamming me and then starting a massive tickle war followed by a 2 hour conversation from him telling me he was sorry for giving me a hard time and he knows I just want him to be healthy and how much he loves and appriciates me =)!!
It made me happy which made me cry b/c it was so sweet which then made M make fun of me so we laughed an joked around for another hour! Finally at 4 we fell asleep!!

I have to go pack for a weekend getaway/wedding but I will be using my new found obsession *Twitter* so follow and keep up with me if ya want =) Just about all of you guys that have a twitter are set to my text so Ill be able to keep up =D

Super Sleepy

For the 1st time in quite some time I am actually really really sleepy!!
I had a fun day at the pool with Mal, M, Caleb Jason and J...Until it came a tsunami and we were forced to go inside =(. We got quite a bit of sun before having to go in so I'm still excited =).

M has been coughing a little more the past 2 days..lets pray its not a sign of trouble!! We go see Dr. S Monday and I am praying for some good PFT's please also join that prayer chain =)
Speaking of praying please also keep Kayleighs family in your prayers.

M says he has been feeling good and what he is getting up small amounts and is not dark at all..well at least not for him..or for when hes sick.

Im sitting here typing and a churches chicken advertisement came on tv and not 1 word of it was English...I mean I was just thinking I lived in American...but whatever.

M is in a wedding this weekend and Im so excited!! Hes gonna be SO handsome!!

Much needed update

Hey guys!
Sorry Im a total blog slacker...bad thing is I dont have a good excuess!
We have had a fun week or so!

Lots of pool time!

A visit to the doctors office ( who would have thought?! )

Everything went well!
All M's labs look good, still a little bit of some sinus trouble, Cortisone shot for the hip and wrist and no new meds!! Pretty good visit..now lets pray that the CF clinic visit goes even better!!

We did go to the hospital but thankfully it was not a bad visit!
My baby cousin Kourtne had a baby =)
Shes just as cute as pie!

She is 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches!!
Her name is Katie and shes so so sweet!!
At this point of our journey I was thinking "ok well maby I will have one someday..she sure is cute"
But then we continued our trip into the next room to visit Kourtne

Her story quickly erased my previous thought =D
Nah not really...when the time is right and if it's God's plan.

We spent the last 2 day in the pool...really ALL day and it was a blast!! After the pool last night we made M a suprise banana split with candles! Im all about some birthdays so I think everyday of the month of your birthday you should get suprises =D

It looks pretty gross but..Thats what he likes!!
Extra sprinkles and gummie bears.

I have pretty much been dreading this day for awhile now..But its here so whatever..
Please say a prayer for M and his sister B.. Its quite a difficult day for them both. I cant believe its been almost 6 months!! Its still very un real to me.
I think Slimer can sense M's pain today

He only moves up the couch to lick M's face and then back to his spot =(
We are going to get ready and go visit the grave.
Hopefully the day will get better.

I hope you all have a FANTASTIC mothers day!!!

Nothing New

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posting =/
Not much going on to blog about..
We changed our apt. for clinic til the 18th..Nasty nose bleeds are becoming quite regular...Says he feels good =)...eating well and being typical M!

M & I decided we were gonna take a nap yesterday afternoon and ended up sleeping til 8:30 last night!!! Needless to say I was up all night! But we had fun M watched the complete 1st season of the OC with me =)
For those of you that don't know M personally he is so much like "Seth" from the show its not even funny!! I swear they mad that character after M!

I guess I shoud read stuff better before I sign up..When I got the e mail from CFF telling me about today.com putting together CF articles and blogs I just automatically signed up...well today I got a email from them asking me for my bank account number..RED FLAG...so I checked it out and its nothing bad I actually make money from posting there....sounds good right?! Ha Ha Ha...100 people have looked at my post and they want to send me a check for 6 cents!!! REALLY?! the paper and stamp cost way way more than that!! Anyway I declined the information so I dont now if they will erase my post of not but I went ahead and did post 3 so check it out!!

I got asked to do a post on Cystic Fibrosis for today.com...the jist of my blogging there is to explaine and introduce CF...I was really weary of doing this b/c of all the problems "blog stalker" has caused and I hate people saying stuff like "you dont have CF so how can you write about it" anyway long story short I talked to M and he encouraged me to go ahead and do it reminding me how much teaching people about CF means to me...the more people read they more they understand the more awarness gets raised...so i did the post..well part 1 of it so please go read it and please please please give me your 100% honest opinion...brutally honest please.

And I totally have noting to post for you guys..
M feels good..CF visit on the 11th which happens to be his birthday..Kinda nervous because he has been coughing a bit but I think its sinus related..but ha what do I know?? His sinus doctor said he looked good..within reason. He is still on cloud 9 about meeting Dan Aykroyd and the people down the street at gamestop are amazed that he has a delorean and have him coming up there nearly everyday to "show off" so hes totally loving that.

Slimer is still very much himself..he has put on some more weight and has some how managed to NOT kill gumby ;) We took him to pets mart today and he was pretty good!! He did his goofy little squeal of a bark everytime he saw another animal..
Oh man I forgot about this!! There is a huge fake deer outside of pets mart ( I know weird ) well when Slimer freaked out about it...It was so funny I guess he thought it was real but he flipped dude I thought I was gonna pee my pants or dress whatever.

And as for yours truly here..I have an ear infection from hell and have been having a blast spending alot of time with Mallory hanging out at the pool =)

Anyway Im off to love on my babies and Im sure do some sort of nagging about something ;)

Hey guys!

Caremarx sent us the wrong enzymes again!!
They sent us Pancrea Carb mt 16's and M can only take Pancrease mt 16's for some reason anything besides that makes him so so so sick...well because they already arrived in our home caremarx will not take them back or refund them so they are sitting nicely still in the package with all the original packing in our utliity room!! We have 3 boxes of them...200 bottles...or a 90 day supply however you wanna look at it and they are of no use to us..yes I twitch as i say that since it was 273 buckaroos!

Anyway..If any of you guys take them we would be so very happy to send you the un opened 2 boxes rather than trash them so please please let me know if you want them.

Got a call today about M's last culture from the sinus doctor and guess what?!?
Sinus infection growing MRSA!! So we have to go friday at 10 to see the doctor..where Im sure they he will tell us "Time for a clean out" and then we will be sent to Dr.S at the CF clinic to see if M's lungs are strong enough right now or if they need IV's so either way Im sure we will be heading to the hospital friday or soon after..BOO..NOT HAPPY

M says he feels good though so Im grateful for that..I just wish he could have a longer strech of being well and at home..Anyway please keep M in your prayers..hopefully this will be smoother than the last few.

Yes I know I ask alot..=)

So I am in rare Kellee form today and just got done explaining to my household that if I had to go behind them and pick up simple things such as the HUGE piece of wood they just knocked out of my NEW coffee table one more time I was going to turn into the most evil mary poppins ever..needless to say my house is VERY quite right now...Im not even sure where slimer is..

At any rate back to this rare K form..I decided I would cook to make myself happier since my usual outlet of cleaning is causing a twitch in my brain..As of right now I have chicken breast soaking in dressing for tomorrow..I have turkey & dressing in the over for tonight (M's fav..I am aware its not thanksgiving but w/e) with cream corn, cranberry and greenbean cassarole and I may do homemade mac & cheese..When I got the chicken breast out of the oven I saw this dang whole chicken I have had for sometime now..Problem is I dont know what the heck to do with a whole chicken so...

Vacation Pics!!

Ok guys heres some of our pictures..I cant put alot of them up because our newest addition is in them and "nasty stupid blog stalker" causes problems so..
Anyway I uploaded them into a one true media thing so I didnt post 700 pictures in a post lol.

Vacation 09
The Aquarium was really fun..I fell in love with the otters & beluga (sp) whale!!
M loved the Titantic stuff especially the big iceberg!

We didnt take ther camera in six flags because I didnt wanna chance loosing it but we had a blast ther 2!!
We rode everything twice and we all agree that superman, batman and goliath are the best!!
M hated the american scream machine..He said it was like CPT gone wrong =/

We went to the zoo and had A blast!!
And stopped in Montgomery on the way home.
All in all we had a fantastic time and cant wait to take another trip!!

In other news..
M is doing good..having some small sinus problems but other than that he says he feels great..He sang to the very top of his lungs all the way to GA. and is just now getting his voice back..still on a rancid fish stick kick now just with orange moon pies?? go figure..Beat resident evil 3 or 4 times and now hes on a Contra 4 kick.
Hes got a birthday coming up which is always a bitter sweet day for me so Ive got lots of planning to do!!

Slimer is being slimer..Gumby is still alive along with a new duck and the master kong..Chicken gravy is his new fav. thing and hes shedding like a mad dog!!!! How do you prevent that?? besides brushing?? He has decided he dont need to wear his collar all the time so he will pull it off with his paws and sleep on it..BUT when he gets up he brings it back to you and sits for you to put it on...Hes strangly smart.

Pictures are loaded..Treatments are done..House is clean..I thinik Ill go distured Michael P and his contra battle =)

Thank you for your comments weather in be CF related or a pick me up comment when I am being Queen Poo Pants.. You guys have helped me more than I could ever thank you for and I just really want you to know that I from the bottom of my heart how much it means to me.
CF is not always easy to deal with and I find it pretty difficult being a non CFer but bloging about CF because I am a CF spouse..Kinda a weird spot to be in..Cant complain to much because Im not sick and I dont know whay CF feels like..Cant answer most direct CF questions because I dont personally know (thanks M for always answering my ?'s for my bloggy people)..Always leary of posting to much because as I have learned your honesty WILL be questioned..But on the flip side I do still have/get the emotion part of CF and I can answers some things because I have been there or have learned "what works best"..I do still get the "Im grumpy because CF.." part so I do find my self sitting on the other side of this screen just blogging away about CF..And as you know from my earlier post I was really questioning if I should continue blogging..I was/am very tired of defending myself or trying to prove myself..I am going to continue..Because A select few of you have really made me feel welcomed...

Yes Its Still Happening..

I am still being harassed about being "fake"
I received a e mail today saying how "if I was real" or "really had a CF husband" I would have more personal things on my blog...This one kinda threw me for a loop...I mean..How much more personal can I get?? I post every personal feeling I have on here especially when it comes to CF.. Anyway this is a opportunity for me! A blogger friend was joking with me a made the statement "I bet you really go crazy not being able to organize all the meds" now we all know I am a bit OCD and most of us know it is quite a task to keep all meds organized BUT I think I do pretty good for a OCDer =)...

Not only will these pictures show you my "organized" attempts at M's meds...They will also touch on the "personal" side showing M's name...WhAt?!? Michael Perkins name on a prescription for Cystic Fibrosis medication!!! Who in the heck would have thought that!!!!

OK so I know most of you are thinking "why is she letting this bother her"...It upsets me I guess because I am so passionate about CF and finding a cure..Of all things to accuse me of lying about CF is not 1 of them...I really really can give you a list of things that I am truly guilty of and make it alot more interesting I promise...

On to bigger & better..Our vacation is just 2 days away!! woo hoo I'm gonna miss you guys tho =(.
M is having some sinus problems still BUT holy cow apple cider vinegar works miracles!! Did y'all know that??
I was googling ways to keep from peeling after a sun burn and it said blot with ACV..it also listed 101 other good things ACV was good for.. It said if you have a nose bleed to soak a cotton ball in ACV and put it in the tip of the bleeding nostril..Guess what?? It stopped immediately..and I'm not talking a "little" nose bleed..M's normally last 15 mins and look like a war zone!
It also said to put 2 tsp. of ACV in a 8oz glass of water and drink it to thin mucus and get rid of a sinus issue..we kind of chuckled at this 1 because CF sinuses are not "typical" so we didn't think this would work.whats the harm in trying?? 2 hours after drinking the water M could breath 75% better and had no sinus headache anymore (All this is according to M)
And I have yet to peel!! Kudos to Apple Cider Vinegar!!

Hey Hey my love's!! Ok so I will start today and go backwards because..well whats the fun in go in correct order?!? Today Michael & I got up to go get some stuff from the ward's army navy store =) M has decided he needs a Indiana Jones bag for our upcoming vacation!! which happens to be in 4 days woo hoo!! Well after our trip to the store we met up with my bestie Mal. Man I sure did miss her =) Yesterday.. We went and had dinner at my fav. ( Out Back ) went to the pet store & had a lazy day. Saturday.. So me being the bright little ray of sunshine I am I decided I was gonna get me a quick tan..Right?? ha..I just layed out for 2 1/2 little hours...And I FRIED!! But I did see quite possibly one of the funniest thigs ever!! A yorkie in a pool..after I pushed my little brother in with all his clothes on =) Friday & the rest of the days were fun..Michael has been feeling really good..spent some time playing with the Slimes and he spent some time with his friend we call Z~Man..We had couple time and watched some sappy chick flicks together ;)..We planned the rest of our little family vacation... The guys decided they were gonna do dinner and give me the night off..this is what they "cooked" ..And Slimer well hes just been Slimer..Gumby is still alive and the power chewer kong is still a hit as long as it has food stuffed in it. I promised you guys pictures and videos so....Coming up I have Slimer eating the kong and Michael being Michael =)

In other news..
Gumby was alive a little bit ago..hes now completly blind and cant smell but hes still got the smile...I couldnt find him for a picture =/

I enrolled back in school today =D
I have 180 credit hours left til I have my Bachelor in Psychology..Substance Abuse, Child Development and Applied Behavioral Analysis
So to sum it up its a clinical psychology degree..Im excited

Sinuses, Slimer & Supper

Hey Guys!!

Thanks so very much for letting me use your pics!!!!

We went to the wonderful Dr. Swain's today and M got his nose all sucked out...nsldkjvdklnjkfnl
I still have a little trouble with the looks of the nasty stuff that gets sucked out!!
And anyway he of course asked M if he was irrigating ( sp? )..Umm NO!! thats the 1 thing M will NOT do no matter what!! he hates it! he says it makes his ears and eyes hurt for days and days after so Swain gave us a neil med neti pot and said to use that because its not any pressure behind it so it wont hurt his ears and eyes. He said the point is not to blast all the stuff out so much as to just keep it moist up there..He took a culture and said we will have it back in a week or so and re evaluate if needed..Please keep sending the prayers =D

Its been a pretty lazy day after the doctor we went to Golden Corral aka the ( pig bin ) Nothing better than a buffet and a cystic right?!? Talk about getting your moneys worth. Then we left and went to pets mart ( imagine that! ) we picked up some yummy roasted chicken gravy ( I get that assumption from the noises slimer makes when eating it ) and naturally we asked if they had by chance gotten any new heavy duty Slimer proof toys to play with and guess what?!?! They did!! It is a gumby ya know the green guy from tv!! Yea him and Slime LOVES him...I tried VERY hard to get you some pictures of Gumby..But Slime was not to keen on that idea..But I did get a few..or I did get my attempts anyway =D

This was the start of my conversation with him..I just tried to tell him I only wanted a picture and Id give him right back..

I managed to pick him up..

But that was short lived...

Cf Sucked

Away another life yesterday.
We met Heather 2 years ago while we were in the hospital and spent quite a bit of time together..we visited her house in P~Cola a few tome for the weekend and often ended up in the hospital together since.
She got sick shortly after we met her and has spent quite a bit of time in the hospital.. just last year around this time she had a section of her lung removed and did better for a bit.
Sadly because of a series of unfortunate events we were not very close anymore. Last time I spoke with her was in October right after M's sinus surgery..I thought she was ok then but I guess not. She has been in the hosp every since we were in Feb. She had been on the vent for a few weeks but had come off a week or so ago..thats the only details I know right now besides this post her boyfriend Shane wrote on myspace

So I was thinkin...

Which is always scary but anyway..I was thinking if we just found the right toy for S then he would stop chewing up everything so... Thanks to you guys I had bought some kong toys well..he chewed them up BUT they have a guarantee so I wrote the kong people a e mail and they sent me a "XXL extream Kong" made for "power chewers" well S loves it he gets this goofy looking grin on his face when we get it out
Kinda like that! We put cookies and stuff in it and he just licks away

And he just plays for hours..If your holding him when someone gets it out he wiggles and squils like a fat little pig!!

He even sleeps with his paw on it..So just when I thought normal everyday stuff in my house was fine I heard this awful sound that sounded like a little girl screaming/crying so naturally I mosey down the hall and this is what I find
Yea just for no reason he decided to hate the close basket..go figure??? Only in the brain of a slimer!! We are having a terrible festival full of rain thunder and lightning so we are having a inside movie/game/pizza/card night unfortuntaly because of poo face blog stalker I cant post many pics!

Well I dont know so much about being off limits but I had to make my bed no matter what..even if I was washing the sheets the covers and pillows stii had to give the illusion it was made up. So now even in my OCD madness my bed is the one thing I dont try to make perfect..and yes its still out of rebellion =)

3. What is the age difference between you and your spouse?
2 years until May then 3

4. Did you hurt yourself in anyway this week?
Oh yea its a daily thing..from running into the table or door to slipping in the mud outside..just call me grace

My night went to Poop

BUT its better at the moment...

M's sugar went to 688 and that was after 40 units of humalog..I frantically put in calls to Dr. S and Dr. F both told me to monitor it for a hour and if it didnt drastically go down to head to the ER...

As of right now its down to 393 but of course he insisted that he just eat 20 fish sticks and drink a half gallon of milk!
Little sleep fot me tonight!!

I cant be mad =) hes sitting ever so michaelish in his recliner doing his vest =)

Oh NO!!

We went to the doctor yesterday because M's awfulritis was acting crazy..his right hip, shoulder, elbow and wrist were locked up and it was getting to the point where he couldnt walk so we went to see the wonderful Dr. F.. He put a cortisone shot in the shoulder and put him on 40mg of prednisone aaahhh!! wonderful drug...already moving better BUT blood sugars throug the roof and angry/moodier than a pregnant woman in a heat wave with no food!!
So I think Im gonna go get a shower and take S to petsmart and to get his nails trimmed and then maby if M's good Ill take him to backyard for some yams..ahh how awful am I?? Yams when he already has a blood sugar of 350..Guess Ill just be taking a extra humalog pen =)

OCD Canceled

So as most of you know by now Sundays are my "detailed Cleaning Days" I start at the kitchen and do counters, floors, base boards blah blah,,move to the living room and vacuum the furniture, dust, floors, base boards more blah blah down the hall bedroom.. I dust, base boards, blinds, fan and then take the sheets off the bed to wash..While washing the sheets I give slimer a flea bath and then clean my bathroom..This is all a "done in exact order Kellee fashion way" But this sunday I made it to the bedroom did all the stuff and started the sheets in the laundry..The room smelled great..Slimer was getting a nice lavender bath he got dried off and sprayed with pawfume and then this happend...
Yea he really just slid his damp, flea shampooed body all over my mattress and clean floor..And yes my friend Jason sitting on the bed really thinks its funny. So being a CF wifey I did the worst...I started thinking!!! Ahh germs!! In my bed..The bed that M sleeps in!! So I started the cleaning process all over!! Later that night after I FINALLY finished my cleaning or re cleaning rather I go see this Looks like a cute little picture right?!? WRONG!! look at the seat of my loveseat... See that green blanket..Well thats M & Slimers way of covering up a nice big stain from slimers bone!!! Everyone in this house thought that this was quite funny..I have yet to see the humor. XOXO

Very much so! I still can beat M at Wii Fit soccer!! And I am the sour gummy worm Queen! Its all in good fun, no crazy must win kinda thing lol.

2. What do you most often eat for breakfast?
Normally I dont..But when I do its Grits =)

3. Do you have a 'raggidy' piece of furniture?
Yes sir! Its awesome! Its my great grandmaws chair and it has so had it.

4. What do you wash your face with?
Nutrogena..some kinda orange bead stuff.. And when feeling spunky I use a green mask that M finds so HOTT!! not..

5. What colors does Spring make you want to wear?
Aqua! I just wanna wear aqua period lol.. But I really should get a tan 1st

6. Do you like working your flower beds?
Not so much.. I mean I will but I dont really like it.

7. What is something you want that you've never had?
Ha this could get long.. Umm I will just list 3 things I want and have never had

Slimer did what?!?

What up blog lovies!!

The Perkins house hold is swell!
M feels great and has been spending 98% of his time playing the new Resident Evil 5. The other 2% has been spent trying to convince me he dont need to be doing a treatment.. Nice try bud..too bad it dont work. =)
A bit of some sinus problems coming on.. Im sure it has something to do with the splendid weather here in Bama.. woo.. Hes also having a bit of trouble with the Rheumatoid Arthritis but I think its because we had a stupid issue with the pharmacy and he ended up missing 2 doses of Naproxen.. Let me vent a bit on this pharmacy isssue! We get 90 day supplies of M's meds for odvious reasons and we always get them from the same people he has used for 14 years.. well 3 weeks before he ran out of meds I put in the order for the new ( it takes 7-10 days to come in )12 days go by and no meds so I call well they tell me "You have a $27.00 balance so we have your order on hold" Really?!?!? 27 bucks?? 14 years of being loyal!!! uhhh.
So I call in a 30 day refill of Naproxen to the local pharmacy because that was the only one we were almost out of and couldnt wait on.. We drive to the local pharmacy pull up to the window and I ask for the script.. Do you know what the lady comes back and tells me?? "Im sorry this cant be refilled until May 2009"
WHAT?!? so it clicks for me that the 90 supply is showing up but I dont have the 90 supply so.... anyway to wrap this up we had to go to the RA doctor and get him to call the local pharmacy and explain..Im sure he didnt call the nurse did ( better put that so my blog stalker dont accuse me of making this story up.. we all know doctors dont do middle man work.) So Naproxen is here and hopefully in a few days M's shoulder will feel better.

M was so sweetly trying to cook me some mac & cheese and after 30 mins he asked me why he didnt here the water boiling yet (no he was not checking to see if it was boiling he was way to busy playing resident evil) so I went to see why it was not boiling and this is what I saw

He didnt find it near as funny as I did!

In Slimer news...

Slimer decided he didnt approve of M & I being gone to run errands so long ( 2 hours ) so he DESTROYED the living room.
He ate the candles, the remote, drank the liquid from the air freshner thingy, chewed up M's play station controller ( I caught hell for that 1 ), ate the albuterol chamber, chewed up my very fav. blanket ( the only cashmere thing I owned )and then decided to take a nice big crap right in front of the door!! Thank you Slimer. Since my last post he has destroyed 4 new toys including the Kong toys that do in fact have a guarantee thats says no destruction ( Thanks for the advice blog ladies they did live longer than the other toys ) a base ball and his 1st leash.
We have decided to stud him out and he really seems to be liking that lol! His very fav. thing to do is join you in the shower.. he jumps right in and sits down.. and he dont mind at all if you soap him up and scrub away! He will just sit, grunt and snort the whole time. He dont even care if you blow dry him! Strange but we ♥ him BIG! Even tho he hands down has the worst gas EVER!!

Despite how angry I was I did find humor in the fact that he only chewed off the power button!! What good does a remote do with no power button?!

Ok so this week has been "lets see what all can go wrong for Kellee week"
Besides the above problems and destruction of the house the dryer caught on fire, the washer flooded the utility room ( I blame slimer, the hose had been chewedd up ) and the dishwasher broke. As if thats not enough I (after 2 years) went and got a eye exam (If you know me personally you know Im blind as a bat.. if you dont know me personally let me tell you just how bad it is..you know that big black E on the bored when you do your eye exam?? yea I cant see that!) and got to order some new contacts.. I asked if I could get some to sleep in mainly for hospital stays ( it really sucks needing to get up in a hurry and running in to every thing while keeping in mind M may be hooked up so watch out for IV lines ) and they told me about some new ones that let more oxygen in to your eye so they dont dry when you sleep in them.. Yay so I got a sample of them ( so excited ) popped them in and guess what?!?! My eyes dont like them!! Nope not at all..But do I have a regular pair to put in? NO!! They wont be for 2 more weeks! So I get to walk around rolling my eyes and squinting.. Not to mention it looks like Im looking through a bubble! Everythings big and kinda funny looking.

So to wrap up this stupidly long blog post we are all good, new washer and dryer, dishwasher fixed, perscriptions are in and I cant see! Going to clean the yard and laugh at M pretending to go back to the future =D

Hey blog lovies.

Hope all is well for you guys!!

We are all fantastic!!

Michael is doing super! His o2 stats are staying at 97... I must sadly tell you guys something... I melted the E flow.. Yep sure did.. I forgot I had it boiling and left it on the stove for 20 mins!!!! Thank goodness I called and our home health people ( well 1 of our home health people lol ) shipped us 2 more so we have 1 for 7% and 1 for pulmozyme now!! Hey if you boil nebs after every treatment you should know how exciting it is to have 2!!

Now that hes feeling better hes trying to slack on his CPT but so far hes not being very sly about it and I keep catching it =) I dont know why he trys to cut the darn vest off at 20 mins??? If you have done it that long whats 10 more?? Guess you have to be a Cfer to get that 1.

Do you by any chance know of a way to fatten up a dog?!? lol Slimer is 13 pounds under weight and he eats like a pig.. we took him to the vet and hes very healthy just under weight.. Since we got him hes gaind 4 pounds so I dont know if he didnt like the food he was getting before we got him or if it was because he was outside runnig around all day or what..

We have him on some crazy expensive dog food that is suppost to keep his skin problems away ( nothing like an expensive dog that needs expensive food for expensive health problems right?? ) and he seems to love it and I just mix some wet food in with it for extra fat but 13 pounds is alot to gain for a dog! Any ideas?

He is so funny and we all love him so much!!

Oh and if you happen to know of any dog toys that can NOT be destroyed I would love to know about them =D

Hey guys.. This post is totally stolen from a WONDERFUL blogger named Katey..anyway when I am going through a hard time I find myself reading her blog and often leave it feeling alot better.. So this morning I was checking my blog and saw a post from her..I click and read and for those of you that dont know her or read her blog here it what I found

1). The Lord is in Control. "In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials," 1 Peter 1:6We are chosen by God, and God is working in us during times of trials. We may even have more trials or problems because we are believers. We will suffer according to God's will. But we can rejoice in knowing that HE is in control, and the suffering will only be for a little while.
2). The Lord is refining our faith! "..so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:7NOTHING happens by accident. There is no fate or Karma, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. During times of trials, the Lord wants us to show that our faith is authentic. HE is burning off all of the impurities. So next time you are facing a trial, sickness, death, etc....just remember that the Lord is testing the authenticity of your faith!
3). The Lord is becoming more & more precious to us!! "Though you have not seen him, you love and trust him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory," 1 Peter 1:8During these trying times...we realize how precious our Lord and Savior really is to us!
4). The Lord is close (intimate) with us right now (during the times of trials). "...obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls," 1 Peter 1:9The word "obtaining" refers to receiving on a continuing basis. We continue to draw closer to God on a daily basis. It is during these times of trials that God is the most intimate with us.I think this is very comforting, relieving, and rejoicing to know that our times of trials happen for a reason, and that God uses these times to refine our faith, and become closer to each and every one of us!

M is still feeling well thank goodness..O2 stays around 95-97 which sure beats 89-90..Uhhhh for some stupid reason my computer wont let me hit enter and go down 1 line ahhhhh!!Ok sorry thats making me angry! But now back to my regular post.. he is 100% back in karate and also 100% back to "Michael well status" which means lots and lots of free entertainment for me =)

Prayer Babbling in Kellee Form

Hey guys =)

Everything seems quite nice here despite the fact that ants are in my kitchen.. O well.. M is good very much so active and back in Karate.J has remained in school with no trouble all week.And Slimer is just as full of bad gas, lots of snorting, and happiness as you see in his pictures..
He really lays/sits like this for hours lolOk so random I know but here I go.. Is there a such thing as praying wrong?
I was with my grandmaw the other day and we were riding down the road and she asked me if I was hungry??? a few seconds like 30 seconds or so later I answered..She asked me why it took so long for me to answer and I told here I was in the middle of saying a prayer when she asked..she starteds to giggle and ask what I was praying for? she says " we are already on the road, your suppost to pray befor we leave" so I reply with " I was praying for the people brokedown back there.. well she starts to laugh even harder and then just ends the conversation. So that made me think..Do I pray dif. from everyone else?? IDK but I asked M how many times a day on average does he pray and he says "Well you know we do at night and in the morning together, and then 2 or so more times a day" Ok so now Im like geeze I sure do pray alot ( 30+ times a day ) so then my brain stays in overdrive and I ask M again how long it takes him to say his average prayer and he tells me "sometimes a few mins. some times a few seconds just depends " And here again Im like woah I really am crazy since it take me a good 30 mins to say all of my prayers after I do my basic prayer with M... So anywho with all this being said I dont think theres a such thing as praying to much or to long or right or wrong but I do think its safe to say that I TALK to God pretty much all day rather than "say my prayers"

I do wonder if theres a such as selfish praying?? When I pray I pray for all you cfers sometimes in detail if I know something is going on and sometimes just in general..I pray for all the parents, husbands , wives, kids, caretakers and friends of you cfers along with any other disease and stuff I read on here. I pray for my family/friends/people I dont care for/then I sum it all up with praying for every Female/Male in the world (yes I really say that to God) along with all pets =) dorkie I know = P and then as I go to end my prayer/conversation I add in Michael..and this is where I kinda think I may get selfish.. I in detail pray for M and when I say detail I really mean every little thing..Example: Sinuses to be open and clear..eyes to remain healthy and continue to see well..Nose to not bleed and stay open to take in all the oxygen his body needs..Chest to be free of mucus with no scar tissue, open air ways and the ability to take in all the air his body needs so on and so forth and its even more detailed then that I just wanted you to have an idea.

So am I selfish?? Ideally shouldnt I do that for everyone? Im going to use Reilly for another example.. I always pray that Reilly feels good and has a good day and if there is something Cindy has posted about Reilly or her health then I pray for that and then I move on.. Dont that seem mean or selfish I pray for health/happiness and or a special procedure for her but then I pray for EVERYTHING on M???

Yea so Ill stop blabbering now I was just curious about the opinions from you guys..so please feel free to share =)

Eflow Question??

I have been looking at the STEAMGUARD MICROWAVE STERILIZER BAGS at medisimpleshoppe.com and I dont know if I can use them on th E flow or not..do any of you guys know?
It would be fantastic if I could since I boil the darn thing 6 times a day!!! No Im not crazy and just choose to clean it 6 times a day =) I just do it after every treatment.

Anyway let me know if you have tried them on the E flow and what the outcome was please =)

English Bulldog??

Ok so M has his ♥ set on an English Bulldog to move in the house now that we are lacking our Poochie Poo =(
But umm they are freakin 1,5oo bucks!! and I cant seem to find one anywhere near Mobile...
Any ideas or good breeders or breeder websites or ANYTHING helpful would be fantastic =)
This seems just as much of a task as trying to maintain a healthy CFer!!!! uhhhh ( Ok so not that hard but you get the idea )

Anyway M is good o2 stats are back to "normal", he feels good and we loved our weekend with Josh =). Everyones still being sad over Poo..Something of his seems to be every where..Toys, hair, meds, temptations so on and so forth..Didnt know how much we would miss his lazy self.
Blah Blah Blah..just checkin in with you guys. Hope your all having a splendid weekend and everyones well!

We got our foster kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And so far hes wonderful =)

I totally cheated and told G and J lastnight..cut me some slack J was in the hospital so I needed to cheer them up with my special surprise =)

Nobody guessed it exactly even though Christy and Somer gave it some great effort so how about..EVERY ONE of my followers gets 50 points and Christy and Somer get 100 for participating lol be excited!!

Anywho..M is good hes actually teaching J how to play the ps3..His o2 has been good today and he was full of energy and even lasted all 3 hours of his karate class!!

Poochie has a vet appt. in the am and we will know if were gonna have to put him down =( or not =) so keep your fingers crossed and Ill update later.

Good Blowing

Yay!! Today went well!
His pft's were actually the exact same BUT his x ray from today held up to his x ray from last week showed a whole section of lung that was filling with air and last week that whole section was blocked off with mucus and inflammed to the point of being "usless".. It was AMAZING.. I have never seen that so it was super cool to me.. Normally I just know if the x ray looks good or bad and if the pft numbers are ok, good, bad or whatever.
His 6 min. walk was good.. Last week his o2 went from 89 to 92 and today it went from 93 to 97!! Thank you all for your awesome prayers =)

Even though the apt. for M was good my ♥ hurt so bad for this family in there.. They were not american and knew very little english, they brought in a baby ( Im guessing like 6 months or so ) and she was on the vent and in a stroller and the mom just looked so tired and they were scared and upset so that was relly sad but then... We were in the room waiting on Sindel to come back in and I heard the nurse telling the family that they were going to have to go to the hospital and the lady was not understanding and just kept wanting to know why the hospital and the nurse tried every way possible to explain and so anyway someone ended up telling the family the little girl was dying. It was awful and I thought it was so tacky to just tell her that when it was odvious she was upset and confused already.. yea so theres my sad story.

Poochie Poo actually played with a fly that got inside today.. He only swatted at it 3 or 4 times and had to lay down panting but hey atleats he played!! Thats the 1st time in almost 2 weeks he has played or even acted intrested in ANYTHING.. no cat nip.. no temptations.. no tuna and he has not even wanted to play with the laser so now you see why Im so excited over that stupid nasty fly lol.

Ok so now...
Im excited!! We have good news BUT I cant spill yet.. soon I will be able to tell all ;)
I will however give you 3 hints
1. We have waited over 8 months for this
2. I have only blogged about it 2 or 3 times
3. I will STILL be the only female in the house
Any guesses?? Ill give 50 Kellee points to the 1st to get it right?!? Be excited =D

Anyway off to do my nightly duties as a CF wifey =)
